The new CRSV product line enables secure connection of synthetic slings to oblong-shaped master links through an optimized load-bearing surface. Such attachment points are commonly found on engineered lifting interfaces or machined load connections.
Three models are available: CRSV-08, CRSV-10, and CRSV-13, offering working load limits of 1.55 t, 2.45 t, and 3.85 t. These connectors are suitable for synthetic slings in widths of 30 mm, 40 mm, and 50 mm. The line represents an advancement of the proven cromox® CVG connecting links and is intended for a wide range of applications involving round slings and master links.
Stainless-steel round sling connectors (Grade 60) for demanding environments
Synthetic lifting slings and round slings are widely used across industries where specialized lifting points are required. In the defense sector, for example, critical components such as propulsion systems must be safely moved along production lines for vehicles, vessels, and weapon systems.
The CRSV connectors incorporate key technical advantages: Grade 60, AISI duplex stainless-steel materials, and a design suitable for cleanrooms and other sensitive environments.
High strength, corrosion resistance, and cleanroom suitability
Depending on the application, between one and eight CRSV connectors may be used in a typical lifting configuration, assembled similarly to a chain sling with a hammerlock coupling. Product selection is based on the specified Working Load Limit (WLL) and dimensional data.
The connector body and pin are manufactured from AISI 318LN duplex stainless steel, combined with an AISI 301 spring component. This material combination provides high ductility, superior corrosion resistance, and a robust design with reduced overall dimensions.
The CRSV product line reflects the continuous development of high-quality stainless-steel lifting components within the cromox® portfolio, responding to growing global demand for advanced lifting solutions.
